In preparation of the high-pressured rush week and other greatly-anticipated annual events, the Delta Gamma fraternity needed a new website that could handle its influx of traffic from new members post-initiation, while keeping existing members in the loop.
After a quick review of the clientele, ForeFront was quick to step in and save the day for the all-women fraternity – like the true gentlemen we are.
Delta Gamma needed something new. Something fresh. Something that could accurately portray its mantra and message of “hope,” all while maintaining and preserving its more than 140 years of history and sisterhood. We helped the fraternity with a complete website overhaul and design. We're talking a full document library, chapter search and alumnae due payment mechanism so Delta Gamma can easily keep its tradition alive and roaring.
This site offers an ease of navigation, so no matter if you're a new member looking for housing or a storied sister with a great history with the fraternity who's trying to keep up with recent happenings, you'll be able to find every resource you need.
Equipped with a fully-functional content management system, the ladies of Delta Gamma are prepared to handle whatever obstacles rush week has in store.

When Netcare Access came to ForeFront for website design assistance, we understood the pressing need for this service and just how important it was for it to be seen easily around the web – the organization provides free drug and alcohol abuse counseling and mental crisis consulting to an innumerable amount of individuals throughout central Ohio.
What started as a bare bones, archaic, ASP-based website turned into an easy-to-find portal of crisis management resources. The integrated CMS allows for initiatives, projects and news to be broadcasted to a larger audience.
It was our goal to create a new asset to help connect Netcare's services to the people who need it the most through this website. In the end, we helped raise the credibility of the Netcare product and brand by giving it a place to promote its philanthropic efforts.
Netcare is a nonprofit that relies solely on community support. By creating the best product possible, we hope that the organization can continue to reach out to those in need and accumulate the funding necessary to assist Columbus and the surrounding area for the greater good.
When a super top secret organization called upon ForeFront Web to design its mobile application, we accepted that challenge with diligence, style and grace. We took the old school standard cardboard vibration/shock calculator – designed to assist engineers with measuring motion and vibration in critical aerospace parts – and turned it into a pocket-sized, hand-dandy digital number cruncher.
Now, the defense technology realm is one that requires a great deal of finesse and fine-tuned algebraic skill to assure maximum national security, so we had to grab our scientific calculators and become crazy math ninjas for the greater good. With a little assistance from the equation experts at WolframAlpha, ForeFront put together this comprehensive, Apache Cordova-based app for the Fortune 500 company that shall not be named. (Trust us. It's that confidential.)
Our hotshot developers first created a complete library consisting of every possible numerical combination and calculation so that each metric, length, hertz level, etc. was accounted for. This enabled us to easily make any possible calculation changes and allowed our designers to focus solely on the app's aesthetic appeal – give it thee 'ole ForeFront pizzazz.
Our team knew more about strut vibration tolerance than we ever thought we could by the time the project was complete. After some delightful conversations with engineers and the person who actually developed the original cardboard calculator, we were provided with a 50-page, college textbook-like manual and pretty much turned it into a computer game. Except this computer game has real-life defense implications.
There we go again, keeping the world safe.
After successfully redeveloping Honda's Wellness Center site, we were asked to create a web-based registration system for their upcoming employee appreciation event. The system was to be used worldwide ("no pressure, but if it doesn't work, you'll tick off every top person in Honda - have fun").
The site (and the event) was a flat out success, and we've even modified the system so they can continue to use it for additional events.
Now if we can just get our hands on a new NSX...
Forefront Web has the cure for what ails you. Well, actually, Orthopedic One does … but we helped put together the site to find your remedy.
Recently, the Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute and Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence merged to form a health specialist supergroup, but they were in need of a fancy – but not too complicated – mechanism to help potential clients seek out the physicians they needed to see.
So, they hit up the best in business: the heroes at Forefront.
We designed and built a completely new website for the organization. However, the feature that stands out the most on the site is the built-in physician finder. This digital gadget allows users, viewers and those in pain to quickly search specialists that are close in proximity and equipped with the knowledge to serve them best. Anyone can search for any doctor, at any location for any specialization at any time.
It's a beautiful thing.
We had a little functional fun by creating a “What Hurts?” page. This section is dedicated to the patient who knows where the pain is, but doesn't know how to fix it. They click here, click the pain region and are immediately hooked up with a list of excellent physicians. Each physician's page is complete with a bio, description of the physician's conditions and procedures and the opportunity for someone to make an appointment. Accuracy, clarity and searchability were key here – with the perfect words, a patient can find the perfect health care partner.
And finally, we added virtual modules to help patients pay their bills securely via the web. Need a physician's reference? There's a tab for that. Need information on insurance? There's a tab for that. Looking to view your entire history with Orthopedic One? You know we got that!
We were able to work through this project with our good friends at Ortho One without any aches or pains. And for future physical woes, we'll know exactly where to go!
Mount Carmel Medical Group consists of a vast network of more than 130 primary care and specialty physicians throughout multiple locations in central Ohio.
Big hospitals, multiple locations, process, paperwork, it may all be part of being well. Mount Carmel wanted to ease the process for every patient and put it all on one screen.
The Physician Finder scans the backend database by name or specialty to easily find the right doctor and location. Policies, forms, making an appointment, refilling a prescription, even paying the bill, all accessed from one screen with a user-friendly layout? Is it possible? Darn tootin' it is.
To further ease the process for any patient, Forefront is developing a mobile app (mHealth, coming soon to an app store near you) that will store personal and family medical data. Just doing our part to corral those pesky medical forms and show them who's boss.
We've been fortunate to work with HR Gray for years, and have marveled at the size and scope of the projects they work on. When it came time to redevelop their site, we took inspiration from them and tried to deliver an awe-inspiring website.
The site features full width imagery, an interactive portfolio, and a comprehensive overview of their services (they do a LOT). It all came together well, and their site engagement statistics have all increased by at least 30%!
As a company that excels at making beautiful buildings, SMBH expected nothing less for their site. The home page consists of a full page photo and a simple navigation bar that focuses on one direct message: who we are and what we do delivered with a chic and effective level of minimalism with only three elements.
The site balances messages of technical capability with tangible visual results, including hospitals, churches, retail buildings, and universities heralding the integrity of their modern architectural examples in an extensive online portfolio.
Or as our intern put it, "cool buildings"! We couldn't agree more.
When first meeting with Ken Dodson, president of Wealth Advantage Group, he stated very clearly, "I want people to know who we are, and I want people to tell us who they are." This brilliant simplicity transcended to the clean navigation and content within the site, so that the determination of the right investment advice could be given to any customer with acute efficiency.
A perfect example of clean, professional, and straightforward design, Wealth Advantage Group offers a different eye-pleasing panoramic photograph of the city of Columbus Ohio that changes with each navigation selection. Direct, professional, and to the point, this site embodies the benefits of keeping it simple to achieve the greatest impact.
In 2011, US crop production was estimated at approximately $1.7 billion in production revenue, but the most valuable asset for any farmer is their land. Farmland Network is a national real estate listing for farms, land sales, investors and auctions. This niche classified listing helps sellers find the highest price and buyers the lowest to acquire farm land assets anywhere in the United States.
Integrating a Google Map user interface, available properties are flagged and quickly found to click and drill down to detail. The listings are paid for through a monthly subscription, as are other advertisements placed strategically throughout the site.
A services listing provides resources available for farm management, auctions, appraisal, accounting, and legal representation critical to buyers and sellers. A blog is an informative tool announcing auction results, national news affecting the industry, and doubles as a Search Engine Optimization enhancer. The forum allows everyone from the industry to collaborate and seek the knowledge and expertise of their peers.
Sustained by advertising listings, Farmland Network is a successful online venture because of the organization of information, intuitive user engagement, and most of all the quality of the content and service to its targeted industry. We love it when a plan comes together.
If there's one thing that Emi from Emi Pet Salon & Boutique specializes in, more than anything else, it's beautification, so when she handed the reigns of web design and her pet portfolios to us, aesthetics and functionality were going to be our keys to victory.
Peruse the pages of the pet care site and you'll see exactly what we all were shooting for: high resolution photos of happy, freshly-groomed animals and a well-oiled appointment making machine.
She hosts her services through a brick and mortar mainstay, but also through mobile capabilities. Both options are equally highlighted throughout, and we helped Emi establish herself as the premier boutique of pet supplies in Central Ohio.
Emi was fantastic to work with. Whatever she wanted, we delivered. If she said “fetch,” we would find her a stick. She's a unique business owner, so we had to make sure her site was reflective of that personality. Talking dogs, commentary from cats and grooming shots are littered throughout to add to the adorable factor. (Note: this is key for search engine optimization).

The Jammock site is built with easy eCommerce in mind. We, at ForeFront Web Design, wanted to get this outdoorsy masterpiece of an idea out to the masses and facilitate sales along the way. With the use of Shopify, we were successful in that endeavor, making it easy for those with a keen eye for adventure and leisure to purchase this product and make the most out of their doors-off, top-down trips.
Because we're hip to the jive, we also added an Instagram stream on the right side of strategic pages throughout the site. This section updates with new photos that use #Jammock as they're uploaded to Instagram. Pretty swag, huh?
